My daughter so deeply enjoyed forest school with Andrea, I could feel my own connection with nature growing. She would come home and tell me stories of how much she enjoyed tying knots and the animals they watched closely, playing imaginative games with her classmates and even enjoying the rain or snow (snow days were her favorite!). Each day she came home from forest school I could tell she felt like a part of a community with Andrea as her steady and safe leader. As a parent, I enjoyed connecting with Andrea, too, as I trusted she had my daughter’s learning and overall well being as a top priority.
Andrea is an exceptional forest school teacher who guided my son through his first year of forest school with compassion, patience, and warmth. He loved going to school with Miss Andrea and still talks about his positive experience often. Andrea is conscientious, thoughtful and dedicated to her pupils. She also loves to have fun with them and her pod of children love to be around her. She has a great balance of being nurturing, while simultaneously encouraging students to become more self-reliant. I highly recommend forest school with Miss Andrea!
